The Legal Version

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Pleeboo ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Pleeboo provides a platform for creating and managing community pledge boards for events and volunteer coordination. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

3. User Accounts

Account Creation

  • You may use Pleeboo without creating an account
  • If you create an account, you're responsible for maintaining its security
  • You must provide accurate information
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account

Account Responsibility

  • You're responsible for all activity under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • We're not liable for any loss from unauthorized account use

4. Acceptable Use

You May:

  • Create pledge boards for legitimate community events
  • Share board links with your community
  • Pledge items or volunteer for tasks
  • Use our AI assistance features

You May Not:

  • Use Pleeboo for illegal activities
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users
  • Create false or misleading pledge boards
  • Attempt to hack or disrupt the Service
  • Scrape or harvest user data
  • Use Pleeboo for commercial spam
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Content

Your Content

  • You retain ownership of content you create
  • You grant us a license to display and distribute your content as part of the Service
  • You're responsible for your content's legality and appropriateness

Our Content

  • Pleeboo and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us
  • Our content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws
  • You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission

7. Intellectual Property

  • Respect others' intellectual property rights
  • Don't post copyrighted content without permission

13. Community Guidelines

We want Pleeboo to be welcoming for everyone. Please:

  • Be respectful of all community members
  • Don't discriminate based on race, gender, religion, or other protected characteristics
  • Keep content appropriate for all ages
  • Report any abuse or inappropriate content

14. Refunds

Since Pleeboo is free to use, there are no refunds. Any future paid features will have their own refund policies.

Special Provisions

For Event Organizers

  • You're responsible for your event's safety and legality
  • Pleeboo doesn't verify pledges or guarantee fulfillment
  • We're not responsible for no-shows or unfulfilled pledges

For Pledgers

  • Honor your pledges in good faith
  • Don't make pledges you can't fulfill
  • Communicate with organizers if plans change

For Minors

  • If you're under 18, get parental permission before pledging
  • Parents are responsible for their children's use of the Service

Survival

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including but not limited to: Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitations, and Indemnification.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Pleeboo regarding the Service.
